Due to the fact that Alan is a mainstream writer, he has a lot of access to popular culture/books/bad movies. If your medium is a videogame and anime, you're pretty much safe. But if your character is from anything that's current, please fill this form out! This is just so I can keep all my ducks in a row. I understand that fourth walling can be seriously brain breaking to a character.

WHAT CAN HE NOT KNOW: He can know whatever he wants

WHAT CAN HE NOT KNOW: If he has seen any of the show, which he might not have-- pretty niche. Pleaaase don't tell him about shit past his canon point (season 5, episode 18).

CAN HE TALK ABOUT THE CREATOR: Sure! Also feel free to have him talk about the creator as Carver Edlund (there is an actual book series written about them IN canon that fictionalizes them... it's all very meta) if you'd prefer that.

WHAT CAN HE NOT KNOW: he can know everything
WHAT CAN HE KNOW: same
CAN HE TALK ABOUT THE CREATOR: Sure, but if he wants to go just by talking about the Jack Frost legends (because maybe he hasn't seen this ultra recent kids' film)... just know this will make Jack like him. So. Much. Sob. So, so much.

i imagine alan will have a lot of fun with jack frost tbh, old stories are the best kind. he probably hasn't seen the film as it's a bit TOO recent for him.

as for dean, i'm fairly sure he's safe, but i'll poke my nose around some books and see if he ought to harass dean.

AHSHFHA batman don't even......... alan will probably take it easy on fourth-walling in general for the time being since he's still settling in as a newbie so bruce will have a good amount of time to learn about the multiverse jazz in zodion ;)
